Terms of Service
Last updated: July 18, 2026
These terms govern your use of knowledgebase.day (the website, web app, iOS app, and API at knowledgebase.day and its subdomains). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
knowledgebase.day is a personal knowledge base: voice and text capture, imports, organization, search, and connections that let AI tools you authorize read from and write to your knowledge. knowledgebase.day is currently a free beta. Features may change, and paid plans may be introduced later; if that happens, existing users will be told clearly before anything starts costing money.
Your account
- You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity on your account, including actions taken by AI tools you connect.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use knowledgebase.day.
Your content
- You own your knowledge. Entries, recordings, imports, and everything derived from them remain yours. We claim no ownership.
- You grant us the limited license needed to operate the service: storing, backing up, indexing, processing with the AI features you invoke, and displaying your content back to you and to tools you authorize. Nothing more.
- We do not use your content to train models, and our subprocessors are bound not to either.
- You are responsible for having the rights to the content you upload.
Connected AI tools
When you authorize an external tool through the consent screen, you are instructing knowledgebase.day to give that tool the access you approved. Actions those tools take (including creating, editing, or deleting entries when you granted the organize permission) count as actions you authorized. knowledgebase.day records versions of every change so you can undo, but you are responsible for the tools you choose to connect.
Acceptable use
Do not use knowledgebase.day to:
- Store or distribute content that is illegal or that infringes the rights of others.
- Probe, disrupt, or overload the service, or attempt to access other users' data.
- Resell or provide the service to third parties as if it were your own.
- Abuse the AI features in ways that violate our subprocessors' usage policies.
We may apply fair use limits (such as daily transcription quotas) to keep the beta stable.
Beta status, warranties, and liability
- knowledgebase.day is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. It is beta software: bugs, downtime, and breaking changes can happen.
- Keep copies of anything critical. We run backups and version history, but you should not treat any single service as the only home of irreplaceable data.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, which during the free beta is zero.
Termination
- You can delete your account at any time; deletion works as described in the Privacy Policy.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Where reasonable, we will warn you first and give you a chance to export your data.
- If we ever discontinue the service, we will give at least 30 days' notice and a way to export your knowledge.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. The date above always reflects the current version, and significant changes will be announced by email or in the app. Continuing to use knowledgebase.day after changes take effect means you accept them.
